Wilt began to play a lot of volleyball on the beach to help re-habilitate an injured knee. Wilt became the main attraction on a traveling 4-man team that palyed successfully all-across the USA. Later, Wilt also had an International Volleyball Association career and is enshrined in the IVA Hall of Fame.
