By the end of his final season of beach competition, in 2007, Karch Kiraly had entered 357 pro-beach volleyball tournaments, advanced to the finals 206 times, winning 148 tournament championships, including one Olympic gold medal. In 1996 Karch teamed-up with Kent Steffes to win the Olympic beach volleyball gold medal, in Atlanta, Georgia.
